Coffee Filter Flowers

How does a coffee filter flowers blue, pink and purple? What is the experiment?
I'm doing an experiment for class science. Give us a coffee filter that was dyed. It is by the color blue to pink and I wondered what experiment I could do to solve it. I think it has something to do with acids and bases. Can someone please help me with this experiment. ?
I'm not sure what a "coffee filter flower." No However, a common plant that turns colors based on the degree of soil acidity is a hydrangea. Neutral ground lavender, blue becomes bright with acid, color pink with alkaline soil. If you add the ground coffee beans of this plant turn bluer as the coffee is acid. These colors could be a hydrangea used to determine the pH.
